James Rorer

Jim joined Pomona in 2004.  He has 25 years of private equity experience. Prior to Pomona, Jim was a Vice President in the private equity group at U.S. Trust, where he helped manage several funds making direct investment in venture and growth companies, as well as primary fund investments in private equity funds. Earlier, he spent several years at Bain & Co. in their private equity practice, providing strategic due diligence services to private equity firms. He began his career investment in the banking division of Credit Suisse. Jim received an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA from Duke University.
